It’s the way light filters through the curtains, the sound of oil sizzling on a pan as mom fries up her famous dumplings, and the luxury of letting your congee get to a palatable temperature before you take your first spoonful. In a world that treats "busy" like a status symbol, I am nostalgic for a simpler time when mornings weren't a race.
